Canadian here, Saw this place was listed as a Detroit staple and decided to check it out on the way home. It was late but since they are open 24 hours I thought we could give them a shot. I got a half dozen donuts and I'm not sure that they are worth the hype... I thought maybe that is just the way Americans like their donuts lol, but judging by some of these comments it seems that some of the local reviewers felt the same. Obviously it was late and maybe the donuts were not fresh but the dough based ones were DRY. The cake donuts were decent, but nothing to write home about. I would consider trying this place one more time to see if it can live up to its reputation. The person working the counter was nice. The atmosphere is simple but gets the job done.

I usually purchase my donuts from my Islamic brother at Elias donuts but because I was out, I thought I would just go ahead and try Dutch girl donuts I bought a half a dozen and of the six donuts that I purchased The only one I liked was the apple and I’ve bit out of each one so I can hurry up and see what it taste like and the only one I like is the Apple. The rest of them just taste like sugar dough, so I can honestly say this was a bad purchase. Not worth me going back I’ll stick with my Islamic brother at Elias donuts in Rosedale Park.

I visit every Sunday since they reopened I absolutely love this place not just for their delicious donuts and coffee but for the absolute best top tier customer service I receive everytime from my favorites Daijanae and Makayla. They are always nice and welcoming and pretty funny ☺️ keep up the good work.
